The group's first-ever album, 'SQUARE UP' will be taking pre-orders starting June 8th at all offline and online platforms along with a special promotion deal.
Debuting in 2016, August 8th, BLACKPINK has been releasing series of 'SQUARE ONE', 'SQUARE TWO' and a single titled 'Like It's Your Last'. The group has been known for its unique sounds and mesmerizing charms.
If the previous projects had messages like 'Let's get this', or 'Let's fight', this album will be holding a message of 'Let's face it with confidence'.
The album's title track 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' is a strong trap beat with Asian percussions and an authentic whistle sound, really bringing out BLACKPINK's special colors.
Each verse to the hook and the rap in the second verse gives enough reason to be obsessed with the new track. As the song proceeds the power of the song builds on as if it's a tank on the run.
Just like the group's name, the album will be released in two different versions; in PINK and in BLACK. Starting June 8th, you can pre-order the album at Ktwon4u, YGSelect and other offline, online platforms everywhere.
